Forty-sixth session of the SDI Council of FBiH held
On April 23, 2025 the forty-sixth session of the Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) Council of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held at the premises of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property Affairs.
At the session, the Council addressed the following agenda items:
- Adoption of the agenda for the 46th session of the SDI FBiH Council;
- Approval of the minutes from the 45th session;
- Information on the adoption of the Report on the establishment, maintenance, and development of the SDI FBiH for 2024;
- Information on the implementation of the Work Plan for the establishment, maintenance and development of SDI FBiH for the year 2025;
- Adoption of the Decision on amending the establishment of the Working Group for institutional and legal matters;
- Adoption of the Decision on amending the establishment of the Working Group for technical standards;
- Establishment of the Working Group for the implementation of general licensing conditions;
- Establishment of the Working Group for technical, administrative, and expert support to the SDI FBiH Council;
- Information on the need to appoint a new Council member from the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism;
- Information on the effectiveness of the GIVE project;
- Information on the launch of the Dutch donor project “GeoConnect”;
- Other – status update on the LiDAR project.
The session emphasized strengthening coordination through new and revised working groups, and reinforced international cooperation efforts through strategic projects such as GeoConnect and GIVE.
