SDI Working groups

radna grupa

In accordance with the Law on SDI, SDI FBiH working groups are established for the purpose of elaborating individual tasks and obligations within the scope of establishing, maintaining, and developing SDI FBiH, and they may consist of representatives of authorities and administrative services from the FBiH area, companies, public institutions, non-governmental organizations, and the academic community possessing appropriate expertise and relevant experience. Working groups are permanent working bodies that provide advisory support to the Coordination Body and the SDI FBiH Council; they contribute their knowledge to research in areas for which they are responsible, and through their advice, recommendations, and solution proposals, they constructively contribute to the establishment and development of SDI FBiH. The SDI FBiH Council establishes and dissolves working groups upon the proposal of the Coordination Body, and a prerequisite for the functioning of these working bodies is the existence of a clearly defined position regarding the entire endeavor and a detailed elaboration of the work implementation plan.

SDI Institutional and Legal Issues Working Group FBiH

The current composition of the SDI FBiH Institutional and Legal Issues Working Group, appointed by the SDI FBiH Council, includes:

  1. Goran Brkić, leader and representative of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property-Legal Affairs,
  2. Jelena Zelić, representative of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property-Legal Affairs,
  3. Hamid Suljović, representative of the Federal Ministry of Spatial Planning,
  4. Anja Galić, representative of the Federal Ministry of Justice,
  5. Rasim Tiro, representative of the Federal Ministry of Spatial Planning.

In line with the activities outlined in the SDI FBiH Strategy for the period 2023-2027, the Council deems it necessary for this working group to continue its work to define the rights and obligations of each SDI subject and user. To achieve this, it is essential to provide support for the development of the sub-legal framework, drafting agreements on cooperation/data usage with SDI subjects, and implementing rules.

Throughout the entire planning period, the working group operates within its capacities to provide legal support to other working groups, particularly during discussions on spatial data sharing issues, and the shaping, structuring, and legal processing of drafts of Agreements with SDI subjects on cooperation/data usage.
